Friends in the mountains

On Saturday, Owen and mom and Max went on Owen's first trip into the Rockies, to the town of Salida. We visited with friends Anne and DK, and their dog, Lutgart (Lu for short). Lu and Owen became fast friends.

Salida has lots of art galleries and it was Art Walk Weekend. There is also a circus school in town, training circus performers. Makes for interesting street life.

Congratulations to DK, who won Vintner of the Year award with his Zinfandel, which is excellent.

NOTE: no actual beer was ingested by a minor in the course of this visit.
